Years 3 – 6 builds on the foundations set in the early years of primary school. As students move away from a more play-based environment, and a greater reliance on independence and self-management skills is needed, students experience a much wider learning program.
The middle and upper primary school program @GHPS continues to embed strong literacy and numeracy skills whilst expanding on the specialist subjects provided. Students in years 3 – 6 will experience a more integrated curriculum as learning areas such as HASS and English, and maths and science complement each other well.
As part of the year 3 – 6 learning program, the following specialist subjects are provided in 2022.
