Attendance

Attendance is compulsory for all students. Please notify the school by either logging into your Compass portal and submitting an attendance note, phone or email, if your child is going to be absent.

Please note that all instances of vacation that occur inside school terms, are classified as unauthorised absences. The school policy is to not provide work for students to complete during their family holidays.

Uniform

GHPS has a wonderful school uniform that is well supported by our parent community and worn with pride by our students. Uniforms can be purchased at Uniform Concepts Bunbury.

Uniform Concepts Bunbury opening times:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9am – 5pm

Saturday: 9am – 12pm

In 2026, our new school logo will be introduced on the uniform. The change will take place progressively, so students may continue to wear their current uniform items as usual. The new logo will be included as existing stock is sold and replaced. Please be aware that items featuring the updated logo may not be available to purchase straight away. Families are not expected to buy new uniforms immediately—current uniforms remain perfectly acceptable. Both versions will be worn proudly as we move forward together.

Personal Items List/Booklist

It’s important that your child has the right tools to access the teaching and learning programs. Each year level has a personal items list outlining the resources students should bring to school.

We are delighted to announce that our school has chosen to partner with Officeworks for your booklist requirements. You can view and order your child’s items online via the School List Service at officeworks.com.au/booklist. Parents are free to purchase these items from a supplier of their choice.
